Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ood.ooo ("Service"), you acknowledge this is experimental research software and agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Experimental Platform

ood.ooo is a research demonstration exploring deep LLM integration with Odoo ERP. This is a proof-of-concept to test AI capabilities, not a production-ready service.

What We're Testing:

• AI-assisted Odoo data exploration and analysis
• Deep investigation patterns with large language models
• Natural language query capabilities (experimental)
• Isolated MCP server architecture (testing phase)

⚠️ Critical: Always use clone or demo databases. Never connect production data. No permission system implemented yet - all operations run with full admin rights.

3. Experimental Research Demo

This is a research demonstration, not a beta program for a future commercial product:

• Free Exploration: No payment required - this is research, not a business
• No Promises: No SLA, no uptime guarantees, no support commitments
• Experimental Features: Everything is experimental and may not work as expected
• Your Responsibility: Only use test/clone databases - you are responsible for your data
• Research Purpose: Exploring "what can a deep LLM do with Odoo" - not building a product
• May Disappear: This demonstration may be discontinued at any time without notice

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Do not share your account credentials
• Use strong, unique passwords

4.3 Odoo Credentials

You grant us permission to access your Odoo instance using the API key you provide. You may revoke this access at any time through your Odoo settings.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful business purposes related to your Odoo instance.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful code
• Abuse, harass, or harm others
• Scrape or extract data without permission
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Resell or sublicense the Service without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including its source code, design, functionality, and content, is owned by ood.ooo and protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to your Odoo data and content. You grant us a limited license to access and process your data solely to provide the Service.

6.3 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide become our property and may be used without compensation or attribution.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Beta Pricing

Currently, the Service is free during the beta period. We will provide advance notice before implementing paid plans.

7.2 Future Pricing

• Beta users will receive preferential pricing
• 30-day advance notice before billing begins
• Right to cancel before billing starts
• Pricing subject to change with notice

8. Data Privacy and Security

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• Isolated MCP server instance per user account (1 user = 1 MCP instance)
• Multiple users can connect to same Odoo database with separate isolated instances
• TLS encryption for data in transit (experimental implementation)
• Encryption at rest where implemented (experimental)
• GDPR principles followed where applicable (experimental platform)

9. Experimental Platform Availability

No Availability Promises: This is experimental research software. Expect nothing:

• No Uptime Guarantee: Platform may be down, slow, or unavailable at any time
• Unannounced Changes: Features, architecture, or entire platform may change without notice
• May Break: Experimental code may malfunction, corrupt data, or behave unpredictably
• Research Priority: We prioritize learning over stability or user experience
• May Shut Down: This demonstration may be discontinued permanently without warning

Important: Do not rely on this platform for anything important. It exists only for exploring AI capabilities.

10. Disclaimers - No Promises or Guarantees

Research Exploration Only: This platform exists to explore what deep LLM integration with Odoo can do. It is not designed, tested, or suitable for production use.

11. Limitation of Liability

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ood.ooo from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of others
• Your Odoo data or content

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting nobody@ood.ooo.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your account poses a security risk
• We discontinue the Service

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. We will delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [SOON], without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [SOON].

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at nobody@ood.ooo to attempt informal resolution.

15.2 Arbitration (Optional)

For EU residents, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via:

• Email to your registered address
• Prominent notice on our website
• In-app notification

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you must stop using the Service.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ood.ooo.
